Alaska is a vast state with varying weather patterns. Summers temperatures Anchorage average 55 degrees with highs being in low to mid-70’s. It can be very chilly at night and on cloudy, windy days.
Rain can crop up anywhere without notice.

Visitors to Alaska are advised to have the following:

2) Breathable Rain gear. The rain jacket can double up as a shell and outer layer for cooler days.
